CONNECTIONS TO THE SEA

The ocean is so important for such a vast majority of life on earth; some may argue for all. But how is it all connected?

The Connections to the Sea forum helped participants understand the links between the ocean, inter-tidal and terrestrial habitats and how important they are for local animals like our bird life.

The forum included 3 informative talks by Graeme Stockton (saltmarsh plants), Mark Rodrigue (Ramsar wetlands) and Martin Griffith (birds) and was followed by an excursion to Tait’s Point wetland.
